| Robin, my bride since June 1980 (think
Mount St. Helens blast #1) is a stay-at-home mom, an awesome interior
designer, a fantastic cook, a talented crafter, a meticulous
housekeeper, an excellent driver (or so she says), and an unsurpassed
mother and wife. She comes from sturdy pioneer stock. Hollie, our oldest daughter is a graduate student at Boise State University, and is also teaching freshman-level English at BSU. We're glad to still have her around the home-front when she's not off doing her thing. Kellyn, our #2 daughter (solely in chronological terms) is also a student at BSU, majoring in Elementary Education. She works part-time at a facility for Alzheimers/Dementia people. (Getting some good background for dealing with her progressively more demented papa.) We're happy that she, too, is still taking advantage of the "three hots and a cot" that we offer. Erik has left home to seek his fortune, as of 2004. He's still in Boise, but has taken up housekeeping in an apartment with a couple of his buddies. He works full-time at a retirement home. We're happy to see him fairly regularly, as he comes by mostly to enjoy his mother's cooking and company. Melanie is a student at South Junior High. She is really enjoying her classes this year, and is doing as well academically as she's ever done. She is in both band (flute) and choir... and also plays piano. She loves to read. She enjoys her new Xbox (also affectionately referred to as the Game Box or Devil Box). - Steve, January 2005 (I hope to add more info and most likely a photo gallery in the near future.) |
